Man with a Pram is an event that takes place all around Australia every Fathers Day. It brings fathers and families together for a walk to combat isolation and bring communities together. This year focuses on Perinatal mental health for fathers. The aim is for this event to change the culture of fatherhood both from a community perspective as well as a mental health and social service perspective. This year the event will take place in a number of locations: QLD, NSW, VIC and WA including North Lakes and Bulimba in Brisbane. Take a look at their website to find a walk near you (Man with a Pram, 2021). The organisation Dad’s Group running this event relies on the support of partners, grants and donations.
