A Bright Future
This artwork represents a story of our Elders and how through storytelling and yarning circles a fire has been ignited in today’s youth who have been passed the torch and will continue to pave a promising future for all Indigenous Australians.
Our Elders have a lifetime of wisdom and experience to share and have been collectively advocating for better conditions for Aboriginal people for a very long time. Their diverse perspectives and lived experiences are now embedded in todays youth leaders, in communities, and in our people who will continue to fight for the legacy of our ancestors and empower the younger generations to continue to create space for Aboriginal people and celebrate our achievements and bright future ahead.
