‘Country Resources’ is a representation of our land and the resources that Country shares with us. It is about sustainability and reciprocity between us and Country. This artwork incorporates elements to reflect various natural resources and our connection with each resource. This includes water as our source of life (waterholes), plants and bush tucker (gum leaves and bush flowers), animal tracks (possums, kangaroos, and goannas), as well as collaborative relationships between families and communities (footprints and meeting places).
